How to Refer
There are several ways that you can be referred to Mark Turner, please find them below:
Dr Turner is registered with many medical insurers. Some insurers do not have contracts with all private hospitals. If your insurer tells you that your policy does not cover you to see Dr Turner, then please contact us, as this can usually be resolved because of the specialist nature of Dr Turner’s practice and can also offer appointments in several private hospitals. We have always been able to resolve any issues like this in the past, so please contact us if you have any trouble like this.
Dr Turner is happy to see patient who are self-referred. This often applies to divers who need assessments specific to diving, or have been recommended by other diving physicians to have a diving cardiology assessment. If you do self-refer and have medical insurance, you should check with your insurer that this will be covered. Some companies, particularly BUPA require a GP or Consultant referral. If in doubt please e-mail Mark or Michelle
