Clinic Appointments
Clinics are held at the Spire Hospital Bristol in out-patients in a dedicated cardiac suite. As well as the consultation investigations can be performed at the same time including echocardiography (ultrasound scan of the heart), bubble contrast echo’s (PFO tests), Electrocardiogram (ECG or heart tracing), 24 hour ECG monitoring, spirograms (lung blowing test) and exercise testing.
This can minimise the number of visits needed and a treatment plan can usually be decided at the first appointment. Dr Turner sees patients from a wide area across the UK and abroad and so the clinic is geared up to minimise the number of visits needed.
Clinic times:
Tuesday: 1800 - 2100
Thursday mornings: 0815 - 1145
Additional clinics are sometimes held on Monday and Fridays.
